Rt. Hon'ble Priminister Mr.
Jhalnath khanal, Distinguished guests, Judokas, Ladies and Gentlemen
On behalf of Nepal Judo Association and the
Organising committee I would like to extend our warmest welcome to the team
officials, Delegates, Judokas, Judges, Coaches of different countries of South
Asia and to all other guests present here in this first 'Judo for peace south cadet judo championship-2011.
It is our sincere hope that this
championship as its name Judo for peace will help to spread a message of peace
particularly in this region and world at large. All the participants, I am sure
will learn from each other, do all they can to fairly achieve their best
performance and display fully the vigor and glory of cadet judo. To all other
South Asian friends, it is my wish that through this championship you will not
only experience magnificent judo competitions but also have the opportunity to
appreciate in person both historic and scenic beauty of this beautiful city
Kathmandu, capital of naturally Nepal.
I Wish
you all a very Pleasant and happy stay. I also hope this championship will be a
best opportunity to deepen your understanding of Nepal and her people and that you
will return home with fond memories of a truly peaceful, enjoyable and memorable
experience.
I take
this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to our Rt. Hon'ble Priminister
Mr. Jhalnath khanal, for his gracious presence. We are also thankful to Mr. Jan
Enric, Head Director, International Judo for Peace commission for his presence
and support. Likewise our thanks are also due to IJF, JUA, Nepal Sports Council
and all other sponsors for their valuable support.
May this 1st 'Judo for peace south cadet judo
championship-2011 be a resounding success.
